Vitamin C is the best thing that I have ever used to get rid of Ulcers of the mouth. My daughter use to get them regular because of her diet and not having a regular bowel movement, and my Nanny gave her Vitamin C for a couple to three of four days and the truth is that they were gone after about the second day.Now Vitamin C is one vitamin we all take regular in our home!Try it and see for yourself!Good Luck and God Bless You!!!

The most natural method is warm salt water. Rinse with it several times per day. Avoid acidic foods and beverages that could irritate the sores (citrus juices, tomato sauce, etc). But if that isn't enough relief, there are several products on the market that will help you.

One is Rincinol PRN, a mouthwash available in many drugstores and on the web. It does a great job helping to protect and heal any sort of sores or ulcers you may have inside your mouth.

Another product is Biotene mouthwash. It kills germs without alcohol, so it doesn't sting at all.

There are a couple of gels that work well. Zilactin-B is very good. So is Colgate Ora-Base.

I had braces for 3 years and believe me, I had to deal with my share of mouth ulcers and sores. Below you will find a link to a page with lots of information about various remedies for mouth sores. I hope they help you.

Usually stress causes mouth ulcers and once you get them they can reoccur quite often.

Use Cordosol mouthwash twice a day, this helps to get rid of the ulcers.

Also use Adcortyl cream. This puts a coating on the ulcer so if you put in over the ulcer before eating or drinking it doesn't hurt.
