should i leave it alone or should i pop it in place???

Sprains do not entail popping things back into place - thats dislocation. Leave a lone incase you dog it wrong or cause soo much pain your dog bites you.
Just take to vet tomorrow

There are emergency vets avilable 24 hours a day but most charge you a fee of 300 dollars in cash up front just to go out there. If you think it's a sprain you can ice it and compress it. Place your pet in a crate or tied up in a tight leash so your dog will stay off its leg. Don't try to pop the leg back in its place if its dislocated. You could do more harm than good. use good judgement before making a decision. I think if it was dislocated you would definetely be able to notice and I personally would call a vet's emergency line and get help.

you should call and talk to your vets answering service for advice. do not take advice from people who are not qualified. to do otherwise is very cruel.
