Get the hairy bits cut every 3 months. There is no miracle cure for tangly hair but I use biolage hydrating spray.

In general, I love Back to Basic's whole line, and they smell great too! I'd pick one of their shampoos, and then get Paul Mitchell's SuperCharged Conditioner (the stuff works miracles and a little goes a long way, trust me!). Both are available at beauty supply stores and are a little pricey, but work!

A cheaper alternative for conditioner is Feria. You know the little bottle of conditioner that comes with the box of hair dye? That stuff is the best, the best, and always makes my hair so soft and tames it. Anyway, Feria finally decided to sell it in a big bottle, and it's awesome. Again, pick it up at the beauty supply store.

Whatever you end up using, use it for a week, and then switch to something else for a few days. This will keep your hair from getting too used to anything, and keep the product working well.

Good luck!

L'Oreal Paris Hyrdra Gloss Shampoo for Very Dry/Damaged Hair. It works like charm. My hair is very dry and thin and this shampoo makes it soft and shiny (I got so many compliments on it) Also by the conditioner too, apply it on the ends of your hair (All over your hair can cause buildup and weigh your hair down) leave it in for 2-3 Minutes and rinse with COOL water, it will seal the end of your hair making it smoother and less prone to damage. Do NOT wash your hair in the morning unless you have enough time to let your hair air dry. Blow drying and straightening every day is bad for your hair. Washing dry damaged hair at night is best because your hair will distribute your hairs natural oils. Lastly try not to put too many chemical in your hair at once, and each month do a leave in conditioning treatment (: The Pantene should work good also, just try the technique I listed above and if it doesn't work go for the L'Oreal. (: Good Luck!

Shampoo alone does not make hair look tangle free. Ensure that your hair is oiled every day or alternatively during night before going to sleep and wash it with any mild shampoo or shika. the next day. For conditioning your hair you can also use henna with egg white and apply on hair and wash after half an hour. you will have a good flowing hair.

Matrix Sleek you have to buy it at a professional hair salon or authorized dealer like a beauty supply company. I have thick, tangly, long hair and am VERY particular with shampoo/esp. conditioners. It is great!!! Comes in an orange bottle. It is worth the money. Also, try an anti-humectant after you dry your hair. I use Aveda pomade. All you need is a little bit of it everyday. I get TONS of compliments on my hair EVERYDAY, no kidding.

the best shampoo/conditioner is Terax. however, this product is very hard to find (in certain places) and it is very expensive. Sephora usually has it. The other great product that will help your hair is the Redken Smooth Down products. Hope this helps.

I use baby shampoo and dove moisturizing conditioner. Split ends are inevitable. Trim your hair. No shampoo will repair them regardless of what advertisements say. I also have thin hair that tangles easily...

I like Loreal Smooth Intense, it's the orange bottle. It has different ones for different hair textures. But my guess is if your hair tangles very easily, then you probably need to get it trimmed. That's what happens to mine when I have too many split ends.
