Peter would be able to out box Tua especially if he continues to get in better shape. Tua is also 8 years older and has a 7 inch smaller reach . Peter by decision.

Sam Peter would make this fight, I can see him knocking out the Tua of now late in the fight, All I can see Tua doing is loading up for 1 power punch at a time and dancing the night away.

Wow. This match could be a bombs away classic. This would be great. Tua, however, is not in his prime anymore and Peter is just starting to prime. If we were to schedule this bout prime-to-prime, then that would be the best match-up. Both men may be equal in power while Peter has the edge in chin and defense. On the other hand, Tua has the edge in agility and experience.
This fight would favorite Tua slightly. I see Tua and Peter engaging in brutal exchanges and it will probably tell by their faces. There would be all-out action. Both these fighters go head-to-head. That is probably the reason why i see this ending in a knockout. I see Tua stopping Peter in the eighth round.

Im not too sure if you mean Tua 10 years ago or Tua nowadays as i would say this makes a hell of a difference in the result in my eyes. If the fight happens earlier in Tua's career Tua would of knocked Peter out within 4 rounds, not many fighters could stand in front of Tua without feeling the power in them days. On the other hand if this fight was made now i think it would be the opposite result i think Peter would stop Tua early on, to be honest Tua wasnt that fleet of foot early in his career and now he fights 30lbs heavier so nowadays i think it would be a lot easier for Peter to connect cleanly and i think this would result in a KO even though Tua hasnt been stopped before i think this would be a bad fight for him to take at his age as Peter has plenty of power.
One thing is for sure it would be a bit of a slugfest from two massive punchers whenever the fight was fought. Great to watch in my eyes.

Wow what a slugfest this would be. Tua years ago at his best would probably win but right now I'd go with the younger Peter who probably has the better stamina of the two. This would be like two rock em sock em robots in my opinion while it lasts with Peter finally stopping Tua in the 7th round of a major slugfest!

I didn't care for him much, especially after getting a ridiculous win in his first bout against Toney. But his skills are improving, and they made a huge leap between the Toney bouts (though Toney's lack of performance may have made that seem more true than it really is). Anyhow, I would definitely go with Peter now, possibly even go with Peter as he is now over Tua back then, and in their primes (which Peter has yet to hit, hopefully) I would go with Peter.
