Hi, Thailand is not all about sex. There is much more to the country than most foreigners know. It has a rich culture and tradition that has remained relatively unchanged since early times as it was the only country not colonised by the west.

There are interesting sights in Thailand. Also known for its shopping in these days due to better foreign exchange rate, so people are also heading there to do import and export.

Different attractions can be found in different parts of the country. For example, world class beaches and luxurious resorts are found in the south. The mountain resorts are found in the north and northeast. You get spectacular ruins around the kingdom.

If you plan on heading to Chiangmai, check if you have a direct flight from your country as Chiangmai is an international airport. If not, a connecting flight from Bangkok is in the region of about US$60/one way. This can be purchased directly at the airport domestic lines.

One word of caution, if you are arriving after Mar 25th, the old airport at Don Muang will be re-opened for domestics and some international flights. So connecting flight schedules may be affected. You will need to check with the airlines concerned before you arrive in Thailand.

Happy hols.
