It's what we do I'm afraid. You're not being unreasonable it would just never occur to us.
It's a man thing!!

How about a good old conversation around this with him. Does he know you are that annoyed? If you talk about this, try to stay calm and not to blame him all the time. Make clear you want to find a solution that works for both of you. If you push him into a corner he will kick and scream and you wont get anywhere. Keep in mind, he might just not realise how much he hurts you with his actions. You on the other side should not sit at home, cleaning and hating him even more for it. I really think you two need to have a serious chat. Make clear you also have free time and you want to share tasks but also enjoy time together. If he helps you you must however also allow him the odd time with his buddies out and now comes the hardest part WITHOUT making a scene when he does. Guys are simply like that, they don't think a second that if he goes out, you have to do all the cleaning and are really p..off. But also, it is in essence up to you to "bath" in your feeling instead of getting up and doing something fun yourself. Are you maybe just jealous that you did not "have a good time", think about it. I hope you guys get this sorted- life is too short for this!

As a bloke take my advice...... Not everyday he has off has to revolve around you and the house as us blokes can have a life out side your world. And as you have said yourself 'he does not normally do this' so chill out...... and at the weekend go out and do something with your mates as well, you dont have to clean the house, the world wont blow up!!!!!

PS....... I have looked at your other questions and ive never seen so many questions about a boyfriend and relationships. You are high maintenance and sound like a right drag on life.... do him a favour and leave.

Everybody needs a day to go blow everything off every once in awhile. Yourself included. If you feel like blowing off the housework and going out drinking, go for it. As long as you aren't doing it to "Break even" that is. If that's the case, then you guys need to talk about compromise.

Tell him how you feel then let the house be a bit untidy and take yourself off and out. But it is possible he might not notice, he's a man remember.

maybe he's having a tough time at work. his boss might be on his back and he doesn't want to come home to someone who will be telling him to do this and that. let him have it his way for now. It doesn't hurt to be understanding once in a while. Lose some to win some.

Have a nice weekend! ★

Your not being unreasonable, but I wouldn't expect anything else.

You could try a bit of training if you felt so inclined.
