I'm not sure if you mean indivudual punches or if the "s" is a typo and you mean punchers.

George Forman has the highest knockout ratio of any modern heavyweight. Liston and Marciano were right up there as well.

The hardest single punch I ever saw landed is a toss up between the one Hearns landed on Cuevas or the one Hearns landed on Duran, both still hurt when I think about them. Tommy landed a few bombs in his day, but those two stand out.

I think the heaviest punching heavyweight of all time was a guy named Ernie Shavers.

Look up Mike Tyson and Mitch Green fighting in a bathroom at a nightclub...or Mike Tyson knocking out Wesley Snipes over Robin Givens.

now mind you these are all from memory and fights I sat and watched (not replays)so will be from the last 30 years or so. 1) the Earnie Shavers punch that hit Ali in the arm and knocked him down (very hard puncher, at the peak of his career he had the highest ko ratio until losing a number of fights before retiring) 2) the first and last punch in the series that Boom Boom threw that killed Kim 3) the punch Evander hit that guy with on the break in the olympic gold medal match 4)Hearns right wrenching Pipino Cuevas neck 5) the punch Forman hit Fraizer with that made him look like a toy army man about to throw a grenade 5) I know this shouldnt count but the punch Kermit Washington broke Rudy Ts whole face with (just about killed him) 5a) any one of the 12 knockdowns between Big George and Ron Lyle in vegas (amazing ,current day heavyweights wouldnt have lasted a round in that one) 6)the right hand Ken Norton broke Alis jaw with 7) most any of Mikes early ko punches 8) Tarver putting Roy Jones to sleep in the second round of their second fight with the left 9)the left Hagler ended Mugabis unbeaten record with 10)Iran Barkley left hook twisting Hearns neck Note; a good friend of mine Jamie 'Babs' Bills was once a sparring partner for Big George and said...'unbelieveable, looked like big telephone poles coming at you but if you didnt duck em...he would 'oooof' you '

1. George Foreman. Even Tyson dodged him when he was champ because he had that tremendous, powerful jackhammer jab & wicked uppercut.
2. Joe Louis. He held the title for 12 yrs and gave everyone a shot. He was a classic boxer, great power. His fights with Max Schmelling were legendary.
3. Rocky Marciano. Small for a heavy, but wouldn't dodge anyone. He'd get his face ripped up, but he battered 'em all, retired at 49-0.
4. Ali. Had power in his prime, also beat Frazier to a pulp in all 3 fights (even the first). Joe had to go to the hospital for a few weeks after the "Fight of the Century".
5. Jack Dempsey. Best known athlete in the 1920's behind Babe Ruth. The man was quick, classic, & a typical US Marine.
6. Mike Tyson. His first 20-plus fights were KO's, he was a menace because of his hooks and because he had a killer instinct.
7. Sonny Liston. Opponents hid from him. Patterson lost the title to him on two 1-round KO's, he broke Cleveland Williams' jaw with a jab. They claimed his left would send you to the hospital, his right would kill, and the only person who could whup him was his wife, Geraldine.
8. Smoking Joe Frazier. Always was moving forward, had one of the best left hooks in history--that floored Ali. Trouble is he ran into Foreman and turned into a punching bag.
9. Sugar Ray Robinson-Best pound-for-pound fighter in history, even according to Ali. Had many classic fights & maintained his face.
10. Roberto Duran. "Hands of Stone". Fell apart after facing Sugar Ray Leonard. But, it seemed Duran loved to watch his opponents bleed from his pounding punches.

I agree with "doingitright...) outside of his 30 years as far "biggest punches" or singular "biggest punch" is "The Punch". Most famous single punch Marciano right "suzy Q" to Walcott.
