Does Squid Ink have any medicinal or nutritional value?

I came across some pasta at an italian restaurant near my place and also some bread at a bakery that uses squid ink in its recipe/preparation... Question:

1. Does Squid Ink have any medicinal or nutritional value?

2. If yes, what are they?

It's good for your eyes. I heard it from a cooking show in tv when the chef was making pasta with squick ink sauce.

Nothing significant. It makes pasta look pretty.
