Does this camera have a timer? I think it doesn't but I wasn't sure. I didn't find anything in the manual unless I missed it. HELP please?!

yeah its got a timer you have to got o picture mode and then well the simplest way to explain it si picture mode, AUTO slection, then press the center buttton on the circular pad, then click down on the circular pad untill you see on the left hand colum the Drive mode is selected, it will say drive on the bottom of the screen. then you click on the circlular pad agian to the right where there is a little circle with a tick mark and the number 10 thats a ten second timmer and the one to the right of it is a 2 min timmer hope that hlpes

The Canon A530 does does have a self-timer. You have 2 or 10 second timers and a custom timer where you can set the time and the number of shots.

To access the timer options:
Press the 'Func/Set' button.
Use the Up/Down arrow keys to go to the third option - Drive Mode. The icon along the left side of the screen is an empty rectangle.
Here you can select the timer settings by using the left/right arrow keys.
