So why don't people like having their pictures taken in Mea Shearim?

in case anyone was wondering why i put (israel) in my question...it's because my computer was stuffing around and it wouldn't get the section i wanted it in! lol

Ultra-orthodox Jews don't like to have their pictures taken because they believe that capturing the image of a human being or any other animal is akin to idol-worshipping, which is expressly forbidden in Judaism. That's how I understand things.

Hey, people in Mea Shearin are ultra ultra religious and they aren't all that friendly to people who aren't like them, so I doubt they would smile if someone totally not like them walked up to them and took a picture! Think about it, lol!
