Considering that I plan to never get married, since I think marriage is nothing but a joke. No I wouldn't, If after about 6 months there is no sex, then it's time for me to move on. Even if I did plan on marriage, 6 months is a long enough wait, and if she makes you wait 6 months then she obviously isn't a sl*t!

Uh, well, sex is really really fun. Once you've had it it becomes a part of relationships for you. It's possible to have a relationship without sex after that, but you always retain an awareness that it could be even better. I'm a woman by the way. Wouldn't date someone who wanted to wait til marriage. It's such a ridiculous outdated mode of thinking, not to mention you resign yourself to a painfully awkward wedding night where one or both of you has no clue what to do yet you have to get "the deed" out of the way because, well, it's your wedding night. Meanwhile, you could've had *exactly* the same relationship *with* sex all along. Seriously, why have the cake and deny yourself the whipped cream because a 2000 year old book says so?

You should date a girl like that because it shows she has morals and values as well as principles that she intends to stick by. Think of it like this: The same way guys decide to have sex because they want to and continue to do it because they enjoy it is the same way that she can decide to wait until marriage b4 she has sex. That's her choice and she's made that clear so if you have a problem with it because you can't wait, then it's best you not date her. If however you can see yourself settling down with her and building a new life with her in the near future, then you should spend this time getting better aquainted with her.

Of course .....yes! You are so very unpatience with regards to sex. The girl's marriage is the most wonderful thing to do..and to give sex to the man she loves..that is after their wedding. It is not unusual to date a girl that way, in a world today. But, some are! Sex before marriage is a sin, in the eyes of God and of Man. And, marriage and sex goes hand in hand to bind the love between a man and a woman. Happiness comes from the love...of man & woman...and marriage and sex has its own meaning to each and everyone of us. Dating is a part of relationship.....not sex.

Yes. It's great when a girl thinks along those lines. If she is your girl friend or potential girl friend you know you have a friend with high moral standards. If your standards are lower than hers then leave her alone. She will have no trouble meeting a man with similar standards. Many beliefs, including the Christian faith, do not approve of sex before marriage.

I know that this is a question meant for guys, but I think that it is ridiculous that someone wouldn't date a girl who wanted to wait until marriage to have sex. I mean, this decision alone shows these qualities: Commitment, loyalty, trust, trustworthiness, honesty, patience, courage, wisdom, unselfishness, perseverence, love.... The list goes on and on. This girl is making the right decision, and even though it may be painful, she is doing it for a greater good. It hurts me that guys will usually choose a promiscuous girl over an angel. :-(

Nope. Then again, I have a boyfriend and same-sex marriage isn't legal in my state, so the point is kinda moot.
