I am a member of the church of Christ. I don't know exactly what you are referring to, so I cannot comment on any specific statements, but I would like to make a few observations.
First we should not insult anyone with personal attacks. Most catholics seem to be good, moral, honest and sincere people. This view, however does not prevent one from disagreeing with their doctrine, where there is a Biblical basis to do so.
We should "speak the truth in love" (Eph 4:15). If we love someone, and we feel they are believing something that is contrary to God's word, it is our duty to bring this to their attention and study the scriptures with them so we once again can "all speak the same thing" (1 Cor. 1:10), and see if a teaching is true (Acts 17:11). The scriptures should be our guide for doctrine and to correct error (2 Tim. 3:16-17). If we love a person, we will want to encourage them to escape error.
Also, such a study will help us to discover if we are the ones in error. By an open and frank discussion of the scriptures, they may be able to show us our error. The goal should be to discover, accept and obey the truth and not the doctrine of men. If we are "teaching as doctrine the commandments of men", this makes our worship "vain" in God's eyes. (Matt. 15:9)
Sometimes it is hard to find the balance between truth and love. We need forgiveness if we compromise either.
Also, speaking the truth is sometimes not popular (2 Tim. 4:1-4). No man ever spoke with more love than Jesus, but his message was not recieved well by many. In fact he made some so mad, they killed him! Many were insulted by the truth Jesus spoke. One should not try to insult others out of meanness, but we also should not shy away from boldly speaking the truth just because it is not liked by others or because it contradicts what others teach. How can you love someone and refrain from telling them the truth that may lead them to salvation or serving God in the way He has instructed?
We are called to "reprove, rebuke and exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine". (2 Tim. 4:2) People like exhortation, but it is not popular to be reproved and rebuked, but there is a time for each, but again the motovation should always be love, and a concern for lost souls!
There is a balance between exhorting and rebuking. There is a balance between truth and love. Please forgive us when we do not maintain this balance!

Catholics tortured, burnt to death and murdered millions of people down the years and yet they are still as arrogant as ever. Perhaps there is a reason that people attack Catholics when the Catholics cannot, except in some South and Central American countries, persecute people for their beliefs. Being a bully and having the power to bully taken away must rankle. The Catholic Church gets what it deserves. Dragging Jesus' teaching through the dirt is not something to be proud of.

I am a member of the church of Christ & I'm a little lost. I don't know what exactly you are referring to, so it's hard to comment, but I would echo bama_jld's comments.
I would like to offer you my sympathy for feeling attacked. That is NEVER a good feeling. I wish you well & remember that if we are obedient to God's Word we'll be saved.

I am a Catholic. The Catholic religion is the most persecuted even though we do not attack other religions unless we are being attacked. You can see that in this section. I do not have to prove it to you. Christian denominations attack us, Muslims attack us, everyone attacks us. But we welcome the persecution because Jesus said the Church he will found in Peter will be a persecuted Church.
Actually we have more stones to throw at other religions but we prefer to follow Christ's command to "turn the other cheek."
Peace and every blessing

The Catholic Church created the Bible. The Holy Spirit guided the discernment to know the Word of God.

I am not familiar with that branch of Christianity, but I do know that if my church insulted any religion, I would change churches.
