I have a Sony Bravia HDTV KDL-40S2019 The picture does not fit on the 40 inch screen with a 1080i link.?

This problem is document by Sony in a tech release, but no way to fix it. Standard setup controls do not work. Is their a fix for this?

a. Check with Sony for a firmware upgrade
b. Change your source (if possible) to output 720p

Go to a Sony repair center and ask about it. It might need a firmware update.
