He lives with you yet you find that he still has singles profiles on many different sites, could he just be fooling around like he says he is or is there something to be really worried about? He tells you he loves you everyday but he is still portraying himself as single on the internet. Is this just a means of getting away from reality for a while or does this mean that he could possibly have other intentions?

It sounds like to me that he has just settled for you and he is definitely keeping his options open. Don't wait around for him to make the decision, you should have a single profile of your own. When you find someone compatible with you then leave him. If he truly loved you he would respect you and your feelings. Think about it!! Would he still do this if you were married?? Probably!!
So keep your options open.

Searching around for the thrill is a sign that he is not in the relationship as much as you think he should be.

Imagine he finds a very nice girl that way of his. Do you think he would tell her that he is involved, or continue "fooling around with her"? If he is offering himself chances, where do you think that might end? It could find him weighing at some point.

That is just one sign, and him telling you that he loves may not mean in your mind the same it means in his.

Tell you my idea. If he is just fooling around, then you can fool around as well, or the two of you can use those fooling around single profiles of his, and have fun. Or, in the more creative way, have a friend hunt down his intentions at the other side.

Tell him that it bothers you. See if he bothers to change the profile.

Don't worry about it. If he's good to you, who really cares what is on his profile on the internet. It's probably something innocent like he means he's single as in not married. If you spend all your time worrying about little stuff like this, you'll go crazy and your relationship WILL end up hurting.

Make a fake profile on a single's site, choose a random picture of someone hot off of Google and see if he takes the bait. Contact him and 'get to know him' on there and see what he tells you. Hit on him and see if he returns it. You'll get a very direct and honest answer from that. Just be careful.

That is *sketchy*. Any guy on a site like that is looking for something, and that is not the behavior of someone happy in his committed relationship.

I'd tell him 'Take these down or I'm gone,' because you deserve better than someone who seems to be on the hunt for greener grass on the other side of the fence.

i think he probably is really in to you, but keeps the singles thing up on the internet so that he will always have a backdoor in case it doesn't work out with you or he finds something better. if he really cares about you and you ask him to change his status on the websites then he will. otherwise he isn't as interested as you thought and you should dump him because guys like that aren't worth it.

PEOPLE SAY AS PEOPLE DO.....IF IT WALKS LIKE A DUCK AND TALKS LIKE A DUCK. sounds like he is looking for something he thinks is better, an upgrade . Ask him if it is OK if you do the same thing just to fool around.

what do you mean by "still"? does that mean he created the profiles before you two started seeing each other? does he regularly update his profiles? if he does, then bring it up. if it's just a profile he created before he started dating you and he never got around to deleting it, then who cares.
