at age sixteen you have the legal right not to have your parents know about your health issues, or what you talk to the doctor about. So you could go to a free clinic with no problems, or your own family doctor and your parents would never find out also you could probaly pay some one pretty easily to buy you commit from the grocery store

There are litterally hundreds of smoking cessation products on the market now. Downside is most are very expensive. You have you and so far a short term habit to break. I started at the same age and am now 42. You biggest help will be wanting to quit because you want to quit, not because everyone says it is wrong or whatever. You have to have the want to for yourself...if not nothing will work. I am currently taking Chantix which is helping with my 30 year addiction. Your doctor will be able to reccommend something more age and addiction time appropriate. Start out by staying away from the triggers that make you want to smoke as much as possible. There are several over the counter products out there too that hopefully will work for you at your young age. For other suggestions go to phillipmorris.com. Come clean with your mom and ask for her help and support too. Yes she will be mad but she will be more relieved that you want to quit and be willing to help anyway she can. Good luck

I am not quite clear about your question, but think you are trying to quit and wanting to know if there is any thing that you can get without your Mom not finding out.
Well I am a Dad and Granddad, I bet your mom knows or suspects. You might some stop smoking literature from the American cancer society and read it over, then go face the music with your Mom. You might be surprised after you have done your homework and are honest about quiting, I bet she will be supportive and helpful. But what ever, quitting is important, go talk to your school nurse if you have to. There are lots of resources out there. You have started going the right path to get rid of this addiction. If you were my kid, I would be both proud of you for wanting to stop, but would be less upset than if you did not. Good luck

Ok...I am a Mom ...and unless your Mom lives in the closet baby girl....she knows. (sorry)
BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You have taken the first step in the right direction by putting it out there that you are looking for a way to quit. You are more of an adult than 90% of the adults I know.
Be Proud & Confident!!!
Go to your family Dr. or health clinic and ask them for help.
They will have the information that you need.
If you cant talk to your Mom - - if you want you can talk to me.
I will listen and help if I can.
I have 6 kids - - there isnt a whole lot I havent heard......lol
Good Luck!

You will have to go to your doctor in order to perhaps get a prescription, or you will have to have someone 18 or over by you something over the counter!
