Is there something we can philosophically surmise? Why are we who are here often here so much, what are we trying to do or accomplish or looking for?

because we are "homo viator" meaning "traveler". in a sense, without contentment. we tried to figure out things, learn more, help others, share our intelligence, and transfer from one place to another (figuratively) to look for some reasons, etc.

we always tends to seek, prove that we are greater than others, and sometimes spread ideas.

Life is a continuous leaning process, maybe this is a way to learn more.

I think we are here for different reasons. Some personal, some religious, some spiritual, some because they are bored or are looking for a comedy outlet. In summary I think we can say we are mostly here to exercise our freedom of speech.

Well, we either like to ask and answer questions in an attempt to gain and share knowledge (wishful thinking) -or- we are just sad and lonely people who can't get laid! I'm an optimist though, so I'll go with the former! lol

I like to point out the absurdity of religious beliefs. I think it's sad that so many people have no sense of the absurd and can't recognise it when it's staring them in the face.

It means that we either have a need or that we have something that others might need, information.

It's a basic human nature thing. We want to help others.
