I have to glue styrofoam bricks to plastic drop sheets (normally used for painting.) What do you recommend?

I hear hot glue melts styrofoam, and I've tried super glue (it melts the styrofoam.) Anything with solvents will melt the styrofoam, and accetone won't work, I've tried it.

You can easily bond styrofoam to plastic using Gorilla glue... I do it often in painting (I am also an artist and work with mixte medium). Just be careful when putting water on the one side, as it will make the glue puff up so don't use much water. It'll be stuck for life!

To be honest I'm not sure, but you might try PVC pipe glue. I don't know if it will melt the styrofoam or not. You can buy it at any hardware store. There is also a product in a spray can called spray adhesive, that would probably be your best bet, and it is easy to apply. It is also available at hardware stores and Home Depot,Lowe's, Ace hardware and places like that... Good luck

Have you tried double sided tape instead of glue? that's what we do when we use styrofoam posters for display.

Another alternative is if you have the time to wait to let it set awhile is the old starch glue or paste.

Elmers wood glue will be the strongest bond. You could also use the white Elmers craft glue this one should work for what you want.
