i am interested in being a big sister to a little orphan child but i have no idea how to get started plz help

Big Brothers and Big Sisters they are funded through United way and other private danotions. My son is in the program but currently awaiting a big brother. They are always in need for volunteers. Especially minority men. But do need females also. My son had to wait almost 1.5 years to get a match and it was getting him more down that he already was but we requested a big brother of african american ethnicity.
Alot more women volunteer so the girls get matched quickly, the person who answeed before me gave the web adress and they have the applicaton online.....it may not be an orphaned child must most likely a single parent family, and there are plenty with just fathers who need a female in their life.

Am is right. Big Brothers and Big Sisters. Or...call your local area orphanage. or...are you talking about hanging out on-line? I don't know if there is a program like that??? I know you can volunteer at schools and after school programs. 4H Youth Organization is also super for the kids. All kids need to know they are special. You are too!
