My Girlfriend wants me to get rid of my dog?

i have had my dog for 7 years and my girlfriend for only six monjths wants me to get rid of it, she says it is mean to her when i am not around but i think she is jealous. any suggestions.

Sounds like the dog is more loyal to you than your girlfriend. She could be jealous. I suggest you be with her and the dog together a few times, and see how it goes. If the dog acts leary of the girlfriend, get rid of the giirlfriend. Or if the girlfriend acts jealous of your dog, get rid of the girlfrined. If the girlfriend still wants you to get rid of the dog, get rid of the girlfriend. Why? A gal that likes you, needs to like your pet(s) too. Take care.

First of all, dogs are faithful creatures. People aren't. You just started to date this girl and she is trying to run your life. Think real hard if you want to be with this person and for what reasons. your dog has been by your side for 7 faithful years, dump the girl. If your dog doesn't like her maybe it can sense her evil. If your dog has a habit of being mean, you might want to think of checking if it needs to be put down. If it hasn't, it's just her. Your not in too deep so get out while you can.

I know exactly what you mean. I was dating two girls at the same time aswell, one good looking the other a complete dog. The good looking one got really jealous about my dog. But my dog was really good in bed. In the end I got them both into bed together, and I dumped the first one to leave, ended up being good looking one, dogs are up for anything

The best advice I could give is just get them both into bed, and see who leaves first.

Tell the girl that you have had this dog for a while and that you want to keep it, or that if she wants you the dog is part of the package. If she doesn't understand then she is probably not worth it. Always choose family over friends.

Take cues from your DOG ! If the dog is your best friend and has been with you for 7 years....then you should trust the dogs judgement ! If the DOG tolerates her when you are around ( because he respects you and your wishes ) but is mean when you are not around.....maybe that should tell you something about her character.....maybe she is NOT a good person and your DOG knows it .
