I have a girl friend that I have an ongoing friends or more thing happening. We were partners at a dance class a few days ago. While dancing, we continued to hold hands after being stopped by an instructor to watch. I also led her onto the floor by the hand twice. Neither had ever happened before. We also had a good conversation, but she disappeared with her best friend for the rest of the evening. Anyway, I sent an email, and in the email, I suggested we dance more at the next class. She sent back and email and has now asked me in person at least four times whether I had fun at dance class last time. Why does she keep asking??

she keeps asking because she can't read your mind.
you probably dont show much emotion and she dont know if you were holding her hand out of nervousness or if you really wanted to.
sounds like you both might be a little shy on the subject and she's trying to break the ice without being too obvious?

and then again....let me ask....were you giving off negative vibes?
could she have thought you were bored ?
are you dancing with enthusiasm or just going through the motions to get close to her?
maybe she likes dancing with you alot and wants an honest answer.
maybe she's self concious and thinks she cant dance very well and needs the re-assurance.
could be alot of things......you have to do something to find out....
ask her if she had fun.
It could be that she dont like dancing but likes holding your hand.
but you have to open that conversation up and find out what she's getting at.

A girl typically asks a guy if he had a good time for two reasons:

(1) as the user above stated, she likes him and that she wants to make sure he enjoyed her company as much as she did; and/or

(2) she's not completely self-confident and needs someone to reaffirm if she's good (in this case, on the dance floor and as a dancing companion).

It might also be easier on you to ask her nicely why she asks you if you had a good time. This might pave the way for a higher level of conversation between you two. Hope this helps.

she wants the truth out of you to see if you seriously had a good time. no matter what she will not believe you. the best way is to say is the truth and how you dont like a certain part and what u would like to change. she will then stop asking

Because she wants to be with you, You doenut. Thats why she is holding your hand nd doesent want to let go. if you want to be with this lady the next time you see her put your arms around her, give her a big hug and tell her how special you feel when you are in her arms. ( God, do I have to think of everything? )

there is a deeper meaning to this...
it means she doesnt think you is being truthful with her,she wishes she could get inside your mind and hear what you really think instead of what you think she wants to hear.
woman always ask guys "what are you thinking?" because guys tend to twist the truth for females they are attatched to because they dont want to hurt them and we woman know that. but none the less they are grown woman. we can take it be a little more honest overall and she wont doubt anything else you say. they can take it.

Sounds to me like your friend might be lesbian or Bi. She might be trying to (without coming straight forward) feel you out and see if you like her.

Maybe she didn't like it. Ask her if she liked it. Offer to take her somewhere else instead.

Because she likes you and wants to be reassured that you also enjoyed your time together.
