There are too many tracks now that are attempting to get a race.If this trend continues then NASCAR would have to allow only 1 race per state per year.So unless a track closes or gives up an event Washington should take a number and wait.

No. A majority of the west coast people don't even care or follow NASCAR so I don't think they deserve anymore races. In fact, they should take away at least 2 of them from the current schedule. It's just like the New York deal falling through. Nobody there cared to have them either. They should let Iowa or Kentucky or Colorado have one and forget about the coasts that don't care.

It would be nice to have another track on the West Coast, but I wonder about the weather. Could the amount of rain pose a problem? I do think there is a large enough fan base for the track, now its just the logistics of the situation.

No way will that ever happen. WHY,,,look at the weather patterns in Washington State,,,it rains there over 250 days a year. It's just not the place to build a track.

Sure and in Oklahoma and anywhere else they want to build a track. The tough part is getting NASCAR to race at the track. Just because there is a track, doesn't mean there will be a race!!

I stay right here in Washington state. it fairly is lifeless for now through fact this state is so grasping. they desire the money that a music might convey in yet they do no longer desire to place up their share of the money to help one. yet we are turning out to be a sparkling section for the pathetic supersonics basketball team. did you comprehend there's a guy or woman who's prepared to DONATE THE LAND for a music down close to Olympia however the state nevertheless won't enable it????? it sucks to stay in in Washington state & be a NASCAR fan...

I think Monroe was dumb to pass it up, of course they should! kitsap county can handle the traffic since all the freeways meet near there.
