Why do Illegal Immigrants & their supporters keep sidestepping the word (illegal)?

We don't have a problem with Immigration, most of us are Immigrants, It's the Illegal immigration that's the problem, we have laws too.

Because by not saying Illegal implies that said illegal alien is legal and therefore harmless. We know that's not the case, but like I said before it is their way of beating around the bush and pushing an agenda.
The proper term is illegal alien, now that lets you know that it is someone who should not be here and is breaking the law. The illegals and supporters are trying to come up with a smoke screen..........surprising Not in the least.
