I cannot see what the problem is. When I am staying at my mother's house the only way to get her to eat fruit is to buy quality fruit, prepare it, put it in a bowl and add the juice of half a lemon and a teaspoon of honey in the micro for 30 secs or so, just to allow the two to blend, and then pour over the fruit. Bob's your uncle.

You can use whatever fruit you want, as long as it good quality, without blemish.

I make a fruit salad using fruit cocktail and a can of crushed pineapple, Drain the juices in a bowl and add a package of instant pudding, lemon or vanilla and then stir in the fruit and slice up some bananas. I am sure it would work with fresh fruit, as well.

These fruits don't need any extra liquid added. They are juicy fruits - just dice into fairly even pieces. I only add orange juice/lemon juice to salads with banana or apples to stop them from browning. I never add sugar - most fruit is sweet when ripe.
