Stetch marks (a.k.a. "angel scratches") last forever. A lot of people can recommend lotions & creams, but they will only reduce the appearance by making them appear silvery.

They are literally made because your skin's tissue is pulling apart, and more tissues (scar tissues) are created as it pulls apart. Otherwise, your skin would just rip open.

Welcome to the world of women. Lol. Everybody has stretch marks.
Stretch marks are a normal part of puberty for most girls and guys. When a person grows or gains weight really quickly.

THINGS TO DO!:
* Some people find that sunless tanning treatments (both over-the-counter lotions and sprays and in-salon types of treatments) can help cover up stretch marks. This doesn't work for regular tanning or tanning beds, though, because stretch marks themselves are less likely to tan. And as everyone knows, the sun and tanning beds do more harm than good when it comes to the long-term health of your skin. You also can buy body makeup matched to the tone of your skin that can make stretch marks all but invisible. Although some manufacturers make these cover-up products water-resistant, makeup may not be the best solution if you'll be spending a lot of time in the water.
* Speaking of pool or beach time, the good news is that current fashion favors many styles of bathing suits that also just happen to hide stretch marks. "Boy short" style suits (popular with many athletes because they don't ride up when a person moves) work well for hiding stretch marks on the buttocks and upper thighs.
* Although there are tons of creams and other skin products on the market that claim to eliminate stretch marks, the truth is that most are ineffective and often costly. You can't make stretch marks go away entirely without the help of a dermatologist (a doctor who specializes in treating skin problems) or plastic surgeon. These doctors may use one of many types of treatments - from actual surgery to techniques such as microdermabrasion and laser treatment - that reduce the appearance of stretch marks. These techniques are expensive and are not usually recommended for people in their teen years because they are not finished growing and their stretch marks will probably diminish over time anyway.

Stretch marks are caused by extreme changes in body/part size ie: gaining and losing weight either due to pregnancy or normal weight fluctuations. There are stretch mark creams in you local pharmacy that reduce the appearance of stretch marks that you already have. To prevent future marks, maintain steady body weight and use vitamin e oil morning and night on stretch mark prone area such as belly, hips, thighs and breast. If you are pregnant and maintaing constant weight is not an option use vitamin e oil 4 times a day to improve elasticity of skin. Will enable it to shrink back to normal size with less scarring.

Skin does not bounce back if it's been stretched by rapid growth due to pregnancy, weight gain, or extreme weight loss. Instead, it becomes decorated by a form of scarring called stretch marks, or striae. Stretch marks often start off as reddish or purplish in color and then become glossy skin that appears streaked in silver or white.

Stretch marks occur in the dermis, the elastic middle layer of skin that allows it to retain its shape. However, when constantly stretched, the dermis can break down leaving behind stretch marks.

Men and women can get stretch marks on several areas of their bodies, including the abdominal area, thighs, hips, breasts, upper arms or lower back.

What Can I Do About Stretch Marks?
There are several treatment options for stretch marks. The degree of success with any treatment will be impacted by your age, your skin tone and even your diet. Treatment options include:

Surgical methods. Dermabrasion, chemical peels, or laser surgery can be used to address unwanted stretch marks.
Lotions and creams. Over-the-counter stretch mark treatments are available. Ask your doctor to recommend one. And, if you are pregnant, discuss your concern with your doctor at the beginning of your pregnancy, before stretch marks develop, so that preventive treatment can be started.

Diet and exercise. Drink plenty of water. Adequate hydration keeps your skin soft and less likely to develop stretch marks. Caffeine can increase your risk of stretch marks. If you're stuck on your caffeinated coffee or tea, make sure you balance the fluids. Drink just as much -- or more -- water as you drink coffee, tea or soda. Stretch marks can also result from nutritional deficiency. Be sure to consume foods that promote skin health: foods rich in zinc, such as nuts or fish; Foods high in vitamins A and C, such as carrots and citrus fruits and milk; Protein-rich foods, such as eggs.

It's best to be in the care of a surgeon or dermatologist. He or she can determine which treatment approach is best for you.

Stretch marks are made by skin stretchting (gaining weight, pregnancy, etc.) Try Shea Butter, coconut oil, or something like one of these to get rid of them.

You've become a woman! Don't worry, it's completely normal, and just part of pubety. Although some people may say that they last forever, I have found that using 'Bio-Oil'. It almost immediately works; apply directly to the skin.
I hope it works!

its your skin stretching usally through variation in weight. try using a fake tan like johnsons holiday skin or dove tanning lotion and moisturizer in one..something that builds gradually but is subtle and then they will not be so noticeable.
