I tracked my tax return and it said it should be mailed on the 23rd so today and has any one ever gotten it early...my mom had hers in direct deposit and it was there on the specified day at 5am but mine is by mail so i was just wondering....if not early, how long before i actually get it?

If you don't get it on Saturday, you will most likely get it on Monday. When we paper filed and had ours mailed, it was always in our mailbox the day after the IRS website that they were mailing it! I always thought that was amazing, but I know realistically it might take another day or two. My son is getting his mailed 3/23 too, so it will be interesting to see if his actually comes on Saturday---I'll have to post back here and let you know!

If the IRS says they're mailing your refund out on the 23rd, it will hit the post office -- there-- on the 23rd. Now, the question becomes, how long will it take the post office to get it to you??? Probably a couple or three days by mail, depending on where it's coming from.

Yeah, mine was the same way. I was told I would get it on the 16th but I assume cause I didn't have a checking account this year that it was delayed for that reason. I checked it later and it said it would be maile don the 23rd like yours. The other two times I filed electronically it was deposited into my account on the day they said. I assume it will be here on Tuesday.

No telling. but it should be within 4 weeks. Should have done the electronic thing through H&R Block. I hate to give a plug but for a few bucks it's immediate.

Chances are you'll get it monday or tuesday if it is mailed postal.
