My ex dumped me a month ago. Two weeks later, he has a new gf. I asked him if they were together (which I know they are for a fact) and he wouldn't admit it--just said they hang out alot and that people are spreading rumors. Why wouldn't he just admit it?

I've done this before, and it's because he still has feelings for you and he doesnt want you to feel "outofthepicture" and he probly doesnt want you to move on either...yeah i know selfish but yet sensable-just ask him

He is not obliged to tell you anything. That, and he probably doesn't want to get in a confrontation about it. If its only been two weeks after the break-up, obviously this didn't mean much to him. I could be wrong though.

Maybe he was seeing her before you two broke up or he doesn't consider her a girlfriend just yet. Either way, he's a big old liar so be glad he's out of your life.

Maybe he is not sure that he wants to be with this other person. But also doesn't feel that you are going to give him another shot at it. Just not burning any bridges? or something to hide and just got confronted?
