I believe God caused us to be evolved from lower life forms.

Exactly how many times do conservative Christians need to be told that no one claims humans evolved from either monkeys or apes, that it is just one of the many lies told by creationists?
And, how many times must they be told that the scientific theory of evolution has absolutely nothing to do with the creation of life? It is little wonder that they are so poorly educated. If they cannot even learn something that simple, school must have been far too great a challenge.
In any event, it is clearly beyond their intelligence and education to understand that the real mystery, and would have been a true miracle, would have been if life had not occurred on earth. The molecular change from non-living to living is nothing more than biochemical reactions based on largely understood natural processes.

I believe that God created my body through a long and miraculous process, starting with 'dirt', and ending with a primate very similar to man.
But I ALSO believe that my Spirit was a special creation with absolutely nothing in common with monkeys.

"from a monkey" is not what evolution says, it is from a common primate ancestor. Pond scum contains as much life as a large American city...it was primordial ooze, not pond scum. Pond scum is formed by the microscopic life (bacteria, plankton, algae etc) that floats on top of a pond. A loving god would not have set up his "children" the way he did Adam and Eve. Nor would he have invented and created Hell. Please try to understand what you are asking about BEFORE asking it.

I believe a more effective understanding of reality can be achieved by thinking rationally about the facts based upon credible evidence. There doesn't appear to be any such evidence to prove the existence of a thing called "god", much less to validate any of the irrational beliefs to which the religious so desperately cling.

Evolution, to a point, has been shown to be a fact. Higher life forms like us, have not been shown to evolve. Cro-magnon, us more or less, came upon the scene about 50,000 years ago. Literally just came upon the scene. Were we kicked out of the Garden of Eden at that time? Genetic experiments by aliens? We have a long way to go before we have all the answers.

as much as i'd like to believe that man rose from a higher place than pond scum, sorry, humans are products of a long evolutionary process. kind of a never ending process of adapting to one's environment.

If there is a God, I know he/she has a majorly twisted sence of humor b/c he made me! lol
I would like to think that we were all made in the eye of a loving God.
I don't think that we evolved from monkies, or pond scum, although I know some people that are! lol

The day when you go to the ZOO and see a gorilla or monkey turn into a man then you can believe this horse s h i t. Revolution or what ever this belief is sounds so dumb. It has never been prooved and when the end times which we are living today becomes evident, so sorry for your soul. THE BIBLE IS TRUE. Look at it, look at revelations..by the way..they have the micro chip. the one that they will force everyone to receive, a implaint that will have access to your bank and medical records. This is the mark of the beast and it is a sign of global government. All one religion and all one govern. We are living in the end times. Wake up people. I feel bad for the people that will get left behind. It wont be all that fun.

I was created by God
Redeemed by his word becoming flesh
For evolution to have any standing at all with me, it would have to be explained how we could have been single cells capable of recreating on our own for however long they would like to make it.
Then suddenly, we changed course and made it more difficult to recreate by needing to find another of our own kind and of the opposite sex in order to continue to recreate.
Also, because evolutionists state that the lower life forms that we used to be can still exist alongside of us, where are the lower life forms that we were that can still recreate within themselves?
Evolution seems to take the position of how we are right now and move forward from that. They do not seem capable of explaning how we got here in the first place within their own theory.
Because all of this is history, if true, they should easily be able to trtrace back all of our evolutionary steps and have these creatures still exist in their primordial form to this day.

I believe that the first life could have arisen from deep-ocean hydrothermal vents, or from pools of organic soup, or from alkaline seepages along the ocean floor, or from several other processes. However it happened, once this molecule was formed, it copied itself repeatedly and evolution began.
Somewhere roughly 6 to 12 million years ago, the hominids, ancestors of humans, split off the evolutionary tree from the precursors of modern chimpanzees, our closest genetic relatives. (Humans did not evolve from monkeys, we share a common ancestor.) In fact, Humans and chimpanzees share between 94% and 98% of our genetic makeup depending on how you measure, and are so similar that we share susceptibility or immunity to almost all diseases.
