the diffrence between treble hook and bait hook are that treble hook has three hooks and bait hooks only have one. treble hook are good to use when hooking a fish you have a better chanch of hooking a fish then a regular hook, but when useing treble hooks you have a better chanch of geting stuck on rocks or trees branches in the water. I like to use small treble hook on trouth fishing i use it with power bail and it work good when i hook the fish.

You could lose a finger with treble hooks. If you hook into a toothy fish, like Bluefish, with a treble hook, it's really tough to get the hook out of its mouth. The aggressive fish would chop down on the bait and end up getting all three points of the treble hook stuck in its mouth. So you have to twist and turn the hook until all three barbs are out. Could be dangerous.

you could wrap the hook with feathers or fur(squirrel tail is the alternative),or you could purchase a pre-wrapped hook and replace the hook on there now, open the chop up ring and alter the hook.i've got positioned a grub on between the hooks and it works,or you could positioned stay worms on each and all of the hooks and attempt that.Mepps spinners incorporate fur wrapped hooks on their spinners, you're able to discover some on your handle keep.
