My buddy at work got the 411 from another receptionist at work on the other receptionist I'm digging. This girl just broke up with her boyfriend last week because she is tired of him and he doesnt treat her right. My buddy at work told me this and that she thinks I'm a nice guy. Does that mean I'm out of the picture? I'm not looking for a long-term relationship. Anyways I might ask her out tommorrow for drinks. If she was smart, she would say yes, date me, and try to milk me for money.
BTW this is corporate and not some crappy retail job.

Well, it depends. If she thinks her last bf did not treat her right,she may be looking for a nice guy. So, in this case, being a 'nice guy' is a good thing. Actually being a nice guy is always a good thing. If a woman does not like you because you are nice, remain who you are anyway. The idea is to remain unique regardless of what others think. But she seems to mean that she is looking for a man with a different mentality than her last bf.

If she thinks your a nice guy it dosent mean your out of the picture, but if you only want a fling with her I wouldnt even bother. She has just gone through a break up ...thats wrong

She would still date you. That was her way of telling your friend she is interested. However, I'm not so sure you ARE a nice guy by the way you are portraying yourself.

she is older...older girls if they have been really hurt usuallly realize that "nice guys" are the way to go....so it really depends on how mature she is...good luck with it.
