ok so theres this guy who i've been friends with for a really long time and i started to like him after the summer. For a while, he just wanted to be friends. But then, we were hanging out more and became closer. Things were going good. Now, one day he acts like he's interested in something with me, and the next day he doesn't even take a second glance. What does this mean?

I know this situation from experience. In fact I had it happen to me three times. He's confused. He doesnt know what he wants.
Dont take it to heart, just be there for him if he needs you. what ever relationship you currently have with him, just keep going with the flow. He'll let you know if he desides he wants something else. Good luck!

He's confused about his emotions. He will come around soon (if he really cares).....he might be fighting the feelings that hes getting from you cuz he's scared that it would change the friendship. I would just go a long w/it for now and give it awhile before you talk to him. Give him his space so he can figure everything out on his own. YA KNOW?

His behavior is too inconsistent to be worth your time. Screw that.
He sounds wishy-washy at best - and - at worst? He may not be as interested as he initially led you to believe BUT is too chickens#@t to be courteous, straightup and tell you so...not good!
Some people feel like they're "sparing you" by trying to let you "figure it out." It's lazy and sometimes selfish, because they still want you around...just not quite in the way you want to be around.
Girls do that to guys too...we're some the worst at that and break plenty guys hearts in the process. Sucks. Hope you hook up with a more loving, consistently-digging-on-you, deserving sweet guy, seriously.

Did you ignore him for some reason? LIke did he try to make a move on you and he failed? Or perhaps he is emberrased about something? You can't just stop liking a person from one day to the next.

just ask him maybe he is not sure how you feel and does not want to ruin your friendship by acting interested..i would bring it up to him and see what he says..let him know you are interested
