Actually you go to search insert foreign language symbols and your computer without microsoft word has it. This is why you can write German words like unmöglich on a U.S. machine.
So google this, it's how I learned how to do it... The alt key plus numbers like 132, 148 224, is for German symbols, but they have the same codes available by searching for Spanish.

If you mean in Microsoft Word, you can go to "Insert" then "Symbols" then look around in there. It will depend on what is downloaded on your MS Word program.
