hey ok first off dont go with how much you weigh...go with how you look and feel!!! start off with the treadmill and just run for like 10-15 min..then take a breather...then try it again if you feel like it. also, i would recommend doing like crunches and leg lifts and that sort of stuff.

cut out all the pop and chips and cake and all the stuff we love...sigh....but drink lotsa water!!! they say half the time you're hungry, you're actually thirsty...so drink a glass of water! (i do prefer cold though...lol with ice...but not w/ ice right after a work out !!) also, if you drink water, guess what... NO CALORIES! yippee!! lol so thats natures own weight loss system!!! haha anyways...

you should probably also put your treadmill on an incline plane if you can...its like the tilt feature or whatever if you have it.... but also start lifting some weights..just 5 pounders otherwise you'll start to get really buff muscles.....which..i duno if you want....lol but just do like 5 lbs with lotsa reps...so like just many times.

email me if u want excercises or anything and im totally and completely encouraging you!!!! XOXO, caiTLyN

First of all it's not recommended to try to lose more than 2 pounds a week, though you may lose more in the first few due to losing water weight. You should try to set a more reasonable goal like 30 - 35 pounds. If you exceed that be proud of yourself but don't try to overexert yourself. Start a journal recording the amount and time of what you eat. Try to eat 5 smaller meals during the day rather than 2 - 3 larger meals. Don't eat after 8 at night. Maybe get a set of 5 - 10 pound weights and use those while on the treadmill. Start by walking 30 - 40 minutes every other day. Drink at least 8 glasses or 64 ounces of water a day, the more you drink the easier it is for your body to flush toxins from your body. I lost 53 pounds leading up to my wedding a year and a half ago and it took almost 6 months. Pace yourself and don't try to rush it, you goal should be healthiness and not weight loss. Muscle weighs more than fat, you could loose 2 pant sizes but only weigh a little bit less. Good Luck and I hope you reach your goal in time!

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

that is alot of weight to lose in that amount time and to do it heathly it is almost impossible.
you can walk all you want on the treadmill and eat well so about 1300 calories as you are only 14 and if you can swim do sit ups anything that keeps you moving lots.
most gyms will let a 14 year old join there but they will only say the same as me cause your body is growing you cant mess around with it to much.

exercise exercise and exercise. use your treadmill every time a commercial comes on during your favorite television program, walk or better yet run the streets. do sit ups, jumping jacks, dance anything. just don't be still. especially exercise before you eats, this speeds up your metabolism b efore you put the calories in. i ate whatever i wanted in reason for five months but walked a mile before each meal and lost 30 pounds. you could cut out sweets and white bread and lose even more quickly than i did. just eat a healthy reasonable diet and good luck

You can't healthy! Just get on the treadmill and start off slow and work up to 1 mile then so on. Stop eating fried foods, and stay away from junk foods and fast foods. You are young and it takes a while to learn how to eat healthy. Don't worry that will cause it to be harder on you. Drink water and stop drinking pop or drinks try to leave the caffeine off and don't set in front of the TV and eat been there done that. Your still to young to have to worry. Just start now and get your family in on eating healthy if you can. And please don't stress over it.

I had this same problem when i was your age.

I would reccomend staying away from all junk food/fast food/high sugar food. And DO NOT do low carb---that is what i did and i guarantee it will come back!

i would also reccommend starting at a slow pace walking for 30 minutes every day, and then slowly increase your pace until you are running.

GOOD LUCK!
