Just one of those "designer breed" rip offs that's nothing more than an over priced MUTT !!!! People that pay for them have been ripped off.

Puggles are a mix between a pug and beagle. Their size all depends on the parents and which breed it takes after more. I know some puggles that weigh only up to 10 pounds and are very petite, others that are huge, up to 50 lbs. and are very lanky. I have a puggle, I adopted him last year. The traits these dogs end up with is just a lottery. My dog has the beagle howel, scent drive, and attitude. Most puggles will take after one breed more than the other. They will normally inherit that breeds common medical problems. My dog, luckily enough, does not have the pug breathing problems and eye problems. Some of them might, though. If you really want to know what a puggle might end up acting like, check out some information on the beagle and pug. That'll give you the best idea.

Well i don't knowmuch about puggles but im sure u can look it up I do know about Chihuahuas the live from10-15 years or so the are small depending on what type of chihuahua u buy. Some Chihuahuas are very picky on what food the eat like my Chi i bought it this food that was colorless and she wouldn't eat it then i gave her food with color and she ate that! I recomend that you train Chihuahuas to be around people because they get pretty ferociuos around new people. Chihuahuas also get attached to to the owner and it will get jealouse and over protective. They also don;t need to be taken out for walks for too long and they just love your attention and resting on your lap! :]

What is a Puggle? They are NOT mutts! Puggles are a hybrid dog breed produced by mating a select female Beagle to a select male Pug resulting in a very sweet-tempered, affectionate (but not yippy, hyper, or insecure) pup that is very low-maintenance, family-friendly (great with children and other dogs), loose-skinned, wrinkly-faced, endearing in both personality and looks. Well into their adult lives, Puggles exemplify the best of what dogs are all about- loyalty, companionship, and affection; translating into a breed that is very eager to please its owner. It has been proven over time that Puggle owners feel their Puggles change their own family chemistry for the better giving everyone a "lift" by their happy, can-do natures. As well, Puggles are durable, hardy dogs that can easily take a bit of rough-housing (boys love them for this.) Girls appreciate their affectionate, lap-loving qualities. Due to their elongated snouts, breathing problems are not a problem; as well, the eyes do not bulge on puggles. Puggles do not show the Beagle tendency to run- rather, their greatest delight seems to be in their owner's presence: this quality tends to keep them close to you (they love to be cuddled!). Typical of most hybrid breeds, Puggles display no congenital defects or particular health concerns. Like all straight-haired dog breeds, puggles do shed; however, their relatively short coat and small size minimizes this problem. Puggles get to be 14-20lbs. as adults, are 13-15" high at the shoulder, typically have a curly tail, are tan with a black muzzle- earning them the nickname of "miniature mastiffs". There are also "Pocket Puggles" which are smaller. ALWAYS GO TO A REPUTABLE BREEDER, a lot of people have jumped on the bandwagon to make money off of breeding & selling these dogs and you might not be getting the genuine Puggle described above.

A puggle is a mutt.

You can't get reliable information on a mutt. It is a cross between a pug and a beagle.

Don't encourage the breeding of these mutts. Go to a shelter and find a dog. Hundreds of dogs the same cross as these "designer dogs" die every year, while people are paying rediculous amounts for these purpose bred mutts. The only reason they are being bred is for money, and that is not the right reason to breed. Help stop these irresponsible people.

puggles are a mix between a beagle and a pug.... and irregardless of are the haters tell you they are cute little dogs with various temperments, but generally playful, sweet, and get along with kids and everyone in general.
Just like any mixed dog, they come in various kinds, but have general features: they don't have breathing issues like pugs because they have longer noses, but not as long as beagles, they are not as wrinkled, but are a little wrinkled, they can vary in size (I have a pocket/miniture puggle, she is a max size of 15/17lbs, not too sure, she won't sit too still on the scale), they come in different colors, they have buggy eyes, but not very buggy. But as I said they can vary, like they may howl like beagles or none at all, they may be very hyper or very quiet as puppies.... but that's the same for any puppy.... and all those people calling them Mutts... back in the early 1900's or so... people did the same thing with crosses breeds of dogs to get new types of dogs to make poodles, and shitzus, german shepards etc.... but good luck in researching.... and before you get a puggle make sure you are happy with the breeder
below is my breeder.... she has some good info on her site, which leads you to other sites also....
when you google puggle.... you can find lots of breeders... I only chose her because i liked who she dealt with me and that she had pocket puggles.....

I have a puggle, and she is the best thing that ever happened to me. I got her at a pet store, not any specialty breeder, for about $400, which is about the price of all the dogs they sell, whether it's a "mixed breed" or not. My puggle stopped growing at about a year, and she's the same height as a normal pug, but much thinner, and without the respiratory and other health problems that normal pugs usually have.

I wish you luck in your search, because mine is such an angel.

I agree these "hybrid, designer" dogs are simple mutts. No one really knows how large a puggle will get. These dogs are usually not 50/50. you may get a dog that is 75 percent pug for all you know. This sort of breeding should no be encouraged.

I have a Puggle they are a great dog, half Pug and half Beagle, she loves people and loves to be outdoors, I think that must be the Beagle in her, then when she is in the house she wants to be up on your lap just licking you to death, she just loves to cuddle. I hope you get one, let me know if you do. Good Luck finding one because they are very popular now, and pricey, I paid 900.00.

Pug and Beagle, it gets to be in between the size of a pug and a beagle. It's a mutt and not worth the 400 to 600 bucks a breeder will charge you for it.
