In India some people pierce right and others left. They say left side is feminine side so we should pierce leftside.

there is no right or wrong side to pierce - there is no standard (thank god) like there was in the 1980's when only homosexual men pierced their right ear. We've thankfully progressed from the dark ages of that.
Honestly, play around with a non-permanent sharpie. Have some rubbing alcohol on hand to wipe it off, but draw a dot on the side of your nose, while looking in the mirror, and play around with the placement and the side. That way, you are really sure where you would feel most like it "fits." I might even suggest using a bead a little makeup and "sticking" the bead to your nose (when you are alone, of course :) until you figure out which side looks best.
Some people do pierce both sides, and it seems to be getting more popular. So that's always a consideration.
Might want to check out www.bmezine.com to see some nose piercings - there's always the septum, too.

Don't be restrained by culture or influenced by society. Pierce whatever side of the nose you'd like, or pierce both. If it is true that some believe the left, and some believe the right, then everyone will have differing opinions on whatever side it is pierced regardless. Just go with what you feel.

North Indians tend to pierce the left side, South Indians the right side, or that's at least what I've been told. Really it's your call, whatever you think works best.

piercing certain parts of the body is made a practice because it helps in making a healthy body. This is called accupuncture therapy in medicine.
Aim is accupuncture and the part of the body to be pierced is nose, so it is ur wish to which side.

To pierce one's nose is actually wrong according to the bible. It is said that only prostitudes will pierce their nose. (sorry to mention this and i'm not relating to anyone). Now it has become a trend or should i say fashion - pierce nose. Now evn the muslims and chinese pierce their nose. There is nothing such a good or bad in this matter as it is a fashion or trend, since people started to pierce every where they like : nose, eyebrow, lips, tongue, stomach and every place that they can pierce. So it is better not to pierce nose as logically you will difficulty in cleaning your nose, or when you get flue, wipe your face with a towel smetimes it will hurt you and give more pain. To avoid all this just be as you are now.
