i agree! im not a kevin harvick fan but he won fair and square... racing to the finish like that is what racing is all about.. if people are gonna sit there and complain about them not throwing a caution.. which i think kevin harvick still would of won... then they must not be tru racing fans!

To say Mark got cheated out of the win is stupid, period. This is the Daytona 500, the grand daddy of all Nascar events, to end it under yellow would have pissed me off along with many others. I'm a long time fan of the sport and I hate it when a race ends in a yellow. These guys know the danger of getting in that car, Clint's car would have flipped wither the caution flew or not. To say that Mark is to old and never will never have another chance to win (the 500) just goes to show how much people watch Nascar. DW was much older than Mark when he got behind the wheel of the #1 to sub for Steve Park and look at how competitive he was. Either way the race would have ended, people would have cried about it, Nascar for once made the right choice and went with what a majority of fans would have wanted. Fact is, if that would have been Jeff Green racing Harvick no one would have cared. Although Mark whines like a girl about things, I would have liked to of seen him win, but he didnt, and it was fair and square.

I guess if you are a complete loser and do not understand racing then you can keep complaining. As a Harvick fan I don't care if Nascar threw the yellow or not. AT THE TIME OF CAUTION HARVICK WAS AHEAD.....so what is everyone complaining about????????LOOK AT THE TAPE>>>INITIAL CAUTION WOULD HAVE BEEN DONE WITH 90 CAMERAS TO LOCK THE FIELD........

HARVICK WOULD STILL FINISH FIRST
MARTIN SECOND

and the funny thing is if the flag had been thrown...and Harvick declared the winner, THE MARTIN FANS WOULD BE PISSED 10X WORSE....

There is no pleasin some people

i've got been a Mark Martin fan for an prolonged time. i became especially disenchanted that he went to drving a stupid chevy. of path it truly wasn't his fault seeing as how nascar hates something that may not chevy. I advise supply me a destroy Roush has 5 automobiles and then nascar makes up a rule the place you could no longer have extra advantageous than 4. what's that? Mark had to run an entire schedule as a fashion to come again into the 6 motor vehicle. I guaruntee if Dale Earnhardt Sr. have been alive and he had to run a partial schedule interior the three motor vehicle they might have made up a particular rule that he ought to. Nascar ought to eliminate Chevy and Toyota for that matter for sturdy.

NASCAR dropped the ball, after a week of getting preached to on how the rules would be followed, and then they don't follow there own rules. I'm not a big fan of yellow and freeze, or of Mark Martin, But the rules are the rules, and nascar slapped the face of every fan out there after all the hype, NASCAR thinks the fans are stupid and will keep spending our money on them, I think it's up to the fans to fine nascar for out right lying to them about how the rules would be followed, I know there not getting any more of mine right off the bat

No, it can't be changed. I am not a huge NASCAR fan, nor a big Mark Martin fan,but you have to realize that he may not have another shot at winning Daytona because of his age. The fact that a caution should have been waved also hurts. I think it ruined a very good, competitive race.

You know and everyone else knows he was cheated out of that win by Nascar and he is NOT too old. He will run the 500 next year you watch and see.
He has already agreed to run the July Daytona race. If he can keep his car clean until the end, I expect the same reults and maybe one spot better!!!
