My sister and brother-in-law are our maidtron of honor and best man. But we both wanted our parents to be up at the alter. Not my sister or brother in law. They will walk down the isle and sit down. Both our parents will walk down the isle and stand with us. It is a small (25ish) outdoor wedding. My niece will also be walking down the isle.

No its not strange at all. Your wedding day is about YOU and what you want.

If you want to dye your hair green and wear an orange dress, dance to polka music and eat chicken wings while getting married....than that is exactly what you should do!

LOL

Congrats!!

As long as it isn't strange to you, it's fine. It's your wedding and all you need to do is be true to what you want. I think it's great

If you can't do what makes you happy on this occasion.....don't get married. Yes is OK, rare but it's your personal choice.
