You have to check with the city because there are certain guidelines and rules. It shouldnt be a problem. There might be a small fee. But definitely check with the city. Try parks and recreation.

Contact Rev. Gladys Weydert of New Covenant Weddings. She does wedding all over SC & up & down the beach. She'll be able to tell you anything you want to know.

Myrtle Beach is a madhouse in July. You need to find someplace official, or the bride will be standing on top of someone's beach towel....

If you use a public beach there is no way to prevent people from playing volleyball or anything else they want, it is public space. You need to check with city hall and see because you might need a permit anyway. good luck

You normally have to apply with the local council closest to the beach you want to get married on. It normally does cost money-every thing costs money when it comes to weddings.
