no, it's not true. but there are a lot of mexican soldiers and police there....it's very violent...the fights between mexican officials and south american gang members. i believe they have basically what we have...some fencing, patrols, and checkpoints.

as far as i know the only thing between Mexico and the two countries at the south ( Guatemala and Belize ) is a jungle which is mostly unguarded .... i also know that many people from the south cross everyday because there is nowhere to buy food in their country .... i think that's sad but they have to do it everyday and are left pass with out any problems .... i know that in the last hurricanes they lost a small bride which connected them to Mex and they were really worried about it and were asking for help to put it back ....
