would it be rejected as a radical cult handbook designated to manipulate followers and intimidate detractors with terror?

I read it. Are you reading it. Out of the 286 ( 277 in Rodwell ) in chapter 2, one of every 9.5 threatens both non-Muslims and disobedient Muslims with utter damnation.

Christians have killed people, but that was not what God wanted. Jesus warned that many people are going to kill in His name. He did not approve it.

The Bible has an overwhelming manuscript support.

rother John. Of course there are sayings of Jesus in Quran because The Bible is older than Quran. It is just Muhammad changed the seential thing Jesus was teaching, the salvation is free and not earned.

It wouldn't even be rejected as a radical cult handbook. The incorrect grammar alone wouldn't get the author anything but a polite "thanks but no" letter.

And I don't want to hear about having to read it in Arabic. It translates exactly the same. My Arabic speaking friend and I compared side by side.

And they'd probably say the same thing about the Bible, the Torah, the Baghvad Ghita and just about any major religious holy book - they all talk about killing people you don't agree with, sacrificing animals, molesting underage girls and all sorts of other perverted stuff. The Quran doesn't have a monopoly on that - actually, the Christians had been killing people in God's name for a full 700 years before Mohammad was even born!!!.

It is a poorly written work, almost non-sensical.

Even so, considering the rapidly shifting base-lines in terms of our dumbed-down society (Read Bloom's "The Closing of the American Mind"), it would probably get published.

it would be rejected, unless some idiot sued to force publication
it is a radical cult handbook. and no, islam is a cult of hate.
