And technically they weren't married. And incest is a sin too, right? But if they were the first humans then some of their kids had to procreate with one another. It's a little disturbing.

Adam and Eve were united by God. It was the first marriage. There was no adultery because they were faithful to eachother as far as it is recorded in the Bible. Besides, they were already sinful when they actually had children. That is why all of us inherited sin and death from them.

I think you are forgetting that God created Eve to be a help meet for Adam. I would think then that they would have been married. God wouldn't put people on the earth to commit adultery. Every indication leads to them being married.

Did Adam write what God said to him right away? Did he wait until he got home to wrte it out? Did he record this on stone? Who taught him to write? Maybe it was Eve who did the writing but who taught her? Did she write it down in shorthand? Maybe someone else was there at the time and overheard what God said? hmmmm
