1) Don't use washing products that contain Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulphate. These are seriously drying! You could have the best moisturiser in the world, but if your shower products and bath products contain those nasties, your skin may end up getting dried out regardless.
2) Find a natural moisturiser that doesn't contain ingredients you can't recognise. Lush and Jason make natural products that are about 1000 times more effective (and without side effects) than their chemical-loaded competitors!
3) Every night, find a thick pair of socks and slaver the cream on your feet (not too much, don't want wrinkly toes!) before you go to bed.
4) I like making a scrub from carob powder, polenta, olive oil and warm water for dry skin! Works well + skin feels really moisturised afterwards.

Heat some socks in the microwave, and rub your feet with olive oil. Take plastic wrap and wrap your feet then put on the socks. Try to do this overnight and you will begin to feel the softness return. Best of luck to you!!

I have some 100% Emu oil that I put on my heels and rub in well and then I put a real thick moisturizer on it. I like Eucerim cream in a jar. Its thick and very rich and really helps moisturize those heels. I do this at night and put on a pair of white white socks and wear them all night. They feel a lot better in the morn.
