the earth has been warming up even before we got here. look at the Ice age and the melting of the glaicers that have been melting before we were ever here, gloabal warming is affected but sun spots and volcano eruptions that we have no control over. 1 valcano explosion dumps more ash and carbon dioxide than all output of all our cars combined in the 100 years since we have had them. there is no change we just wish we were important enought to make a change when in fact God is in charge.

the previous posters said it is because of co2, that is false. co2 accounts for .05% of the atmosphere, but it is still up from .04% 100 yrs ago. the add specific heat of co2 is not enough to warm up the earth at all. global warming is cyclic and we will go through a cool stage again.

This global warming appears to be caused by CO2 that is getting released into the atmosphere by the human race burning fossil fuels. Some very large per-cent of that is attributable to the US. Florida will be one of the first places to go under water. Ha ha. They voted for it in 2000. Oh wait, that was the Republicans on the Supreme Court.
