Going to propose soon, thinking about going to some relationship or marriage classes, to better prepare ourselves... Has anyone ever done this or think its a good Idea...?

If so... Where is a place in Rosemead or Pasadena, CA?

I have never taken them but, boy do I wish I would have! I think anything to help discover what makes your future mate tick is useful info. I am well past my first marriage and I believe they are a great idea. If you or your other half attend church, they often hold classes or pre-marriage counseling. Also, you may check with a local Marriage and Family Counselor (MFCC) to get a referral. Best of luck

Some of the classes were good.
Insurance investments etc.. Others were so so (religion in the home and family etc)
It doesn't do any harm in taking them and if you learn something all the better. Just don't expect to walk away with great information from every class.
It gives you time together to see each others views on certain things and that's a good thing

it is always a good idea. i am im minnesota and actually they give you a discount on marriage licenses if you have at least 20 hours of cournseling..

One of the best places to ask anywhere is the minister wher eyou are planning on marrying. he or she will give you advice to where to get couseling if needed..

our church you have to take a compatibility test... there is no right or wrong but it does make you think if there are areas that might need talking or clarifiing in marriage
