was standing outside today looking at the snow. I picked some up and sniffed it..........thought i detected some gasoline smells! lol...well, i was just wondering if snow actually has a scent and if it has a taste too.

No more than the rain. As long as the snow is pure (hard to do with the chemicals in the atmosphere these days) it will not have a taste or smell.

Snow itself has no taste or scent. If it does, you're tasting something else.

It of course has a texture, but as far as scent and taste it should be identical to water.

never tried it and dont recommend you to eaither becasue the air which is polluted all the time, will stick onto the snow causing the snow to be polluted

well snow is solid water......it has no taste or scent.....the snow you sniffed was surely polluted one.
