Ok, I just did a heavy wokrout and I drank cold water and I am scared i'ma die or something in my sleep, I feel like ima pass out what should I do?

Never ceases to amaze me all the people that are dying on here, yet they have time to write there last words on yahoo answers.

I'm sure you won't die from cold water I believe thats if your standing out in the sun on an extremly hot day, that said Sit down & relax for a while before sleeping, try room temp water next time.
Your blood sugar may be low or you got a head rush from drinking cold liquid to fast.

I don't think you will die right now ifg you are ont he internet asking us questions & were able to type this & wait for answers. Sorry but really you need to Calm down who told you water will kill you after a work out??
Maybe but I've only heard that about sun or heat stroke, not gym see plenty there drinking cold drinks & pumping iron.

"o.O" is right. I had that happen after mowing in very hot weather a few years ago. As soon as I drank ice water, I nearly passed out, then my heart went into irregular beating. It lasted for several minutes. Not fun.
If your problem lasts very long, maybe you should go to the ER. It's better not to take chances, and it's not something you should feel ashamed to have checked out.

Try and relax. Eat something - your blood sugar may be low.

You'll be okay! It's not uncommon to get dizzy after a hard workout. Do try to eat something. It will help. If you aren't feeling better soon and you truly feel that you're going to pass out you need to call 911.

I would say that you just worked out a bit to much and need to take a shower and calm down and then if you start to feel worse then go to the ER or call 911 and the emt's will check you out and tell you what to do.

the only way that you can ever pass out from drinking too much water is by drinking more then 2 liters. you should be fine. unless you start cramping hours after woking out, then you should go see a doctor. and if the room starts spinning. overall, you should be fine. your bodys probably not used to so much energy being taken out of it and then water coming in at the same time.

i feel like that sometimes after a really hard workout. Eat some protein and you will feel better withing 60 minutes.

You will be fine, in fact you sound exactly like me. A HYPOCHONDRIAC!! I always think im gonna die. Whatever you do is dont sit down if your heart rate is up just keep walking, not to fast not to slow but at a medium pace until your heart rate lowers. If your heart rate is fine. YOU SHOULD BE FINE :]

ok i had the same feeling call a doc if ur really bad but i get betta within 1 hr after workout be carefull next time

Chill out, and watch some T.V., lessen to some music, or play a video game
