I found peace 36 years ago when Jesus Christ revealed Himself to me as the One who died on a cross for my sins. The peace that came to me that day was a deep, settled peace in my innermost being. Since then God has also increased that inner peace and added an abundance of peace in my environment as well. I know things can change externally, but I know that as long as I keep my trust in Him, He will bring me through. He will in due time restore peace even to this sin-sick earth.

Tell yourself...My life has been an illusion. I have created for myself everything that I thought to be important and deserving of my attention. It all turns out to be nothing. I am living in a world of my own making. I assigned an importance to matters that in the end have no importance at all. I am threatened only by my own mistaken creations. It never happened the way I thought it. It was just a non-reality. Nothing unreal exists. Nothing real can be threatened. Herein lies the peace of God. If it were real, it would have never been a threat to me. It was only given the meaning in which I have assigned it.

Here and now, I have awakened from that dream to find the light of reality, the truth of my existence: a continued awareness of a presence that delivers me into my natural inheritance; calling me into eternity. I am having an experience of myself as who I am truly meant to be, an experience away from the illusion that I have created for myself. I have found myself. I have found my home in God.

(The paradox)
...others will maintain that what I speak of is illusion, not to be considered more than but a dream. Yet, who in simple honesty, without defensives and self-deception would deny they understand the words I speak. For everyone who walks this world, he is not at home. He goes on uncertainly about in an endless search, seeking in darkness what he cannot find, not recognizing what it is he seeks. A thousand homes he makes but, none contents his restless mind. (Who would be willing to be turned away from all the roadways of the world, unless he understood their real futility? Is it not needful that he should begin with this, to seek another way instead?) He does not understand he builds in vain. The home he seeks cannot be built by him. The simple reason is that he does not recognize it. To be able to understand depends on willingness.

To find peace you must first forgive yourself anything you may have done that has had any negative effect on any life, then you must seek forgiveness from those you have effected negatively. Whether they grant you forgiveness or not is irrelavent, the action of seeking it alone will lead you to an inner peace.
When you find this you will find people will notice it in you and hopefully be inspired by it.

You can't find peace, it comes to you when you follow God's commands and walk in His paths. The non-peace that you feel is sin in your life that separates you from God. Peace is not absence of war, it is absence of seperation from God.

I sang it in a school live performance a lengthy time period in the past. notwithstanding the unique words are: enable there be peace in the international and enable it start up with me, enable there be peace in the international - the peace that became meant to be. With God as our father, brothers all are we; enable me walk my brother in acceptable cohesion. Then some thing are as you wrote them.
