I recently viewed a segment in the news where the chinese are litterally pulling fur off of dogs to sell it for profit to make coats out of..They showed dogs in cages shaking, with nor fur left on their bodies. There were mounds of dog hair in piles, and cages filled with dogs. Im appauled, and sickened to think that people in this world are so cruel..I hope everyone that reads this will not buy anything that has any kind of fur on it, because it may be dog fur..I was shocked. Someone needs to pull the skin off of the chinese and see how they like it..Has anyone out there ever heard of this practice among these people?

I've heard of it. They use cat and dog fur to do their trading. Millions of dogs and cats in China are being bludgeoned, hanged, bled to death, and strangled with wire nooses so that their fur can be turned into trim and trinkets. This fur is often deliberately mislabeled as fur from other species and is exported to countries throughout the world to be sold to unsuspecting customers in retail stores. China supplies more than half of the finished fur garments imported for sale in the United States, so the bottom line is that because dog and cat fur is so often mislabeled, if you're buying fur, there's no way to tell whose skin you're wearing.

Some are on the road for days, transported in flimsy wire-mesh cages with no food or water. Twenty cats were forced into a single cage. Because of the cross-country transport in such deplorable conditions, dead cats on top of the cages, dying cats and dogs inside the cages, and dogs and cats with open wounds. Some animals were lethargic or frightened, and others were fighting with each other, driven insane from confinement and exposure.

Up to 8,000 animals are loaded onto each truck, with cages stacked on top of each other. Cages containing live animals are commonly tossed from the top of the trucks onto the ground 10 feet below, shattering the legs of the animals inside them. Many of the animals we saw still had collars on, a sign that they were once someone's beloved companions, stolen to be made into fur coats.

definite this is. i think of they prepare for a preganancy (in spite of the reality that they do no longer seem to be pregnant). i replaced into so scared the 1st time I observed fur in my rabbits cage. She did it each now and lower back. i in my opinion observed her a pair of cases pulling out her fur to make a nest with it. in case you have hay in her cage you will possibly be able to additionally see her using that still to make the nest. My rabbit might %. them up in her mouth all dealing with a similar way smartly and make her nest. I ahd my rabbit for 5 and a 0.5 years till i got here across her cage door open sooner or later and her lacking. She replaced into under no circumstances pregnant yet made extremely some nests together with her fur!

im very appauled by this treatment, i saw a story once on like the discovery or history channel once that showed them eating puppies and i about cried...i found my dog and cuddled with her. I guess in more economically developed countries we have dogs as companions and friends, guess they see them as food and lesser beings. Thats a shame.
