"It's not just a job, it's an adventure"? Wasn't that a Navy slogan?

The Army is a way of life. It's not for everyone, but it's great if you can stand it.

It is a way of life that civilians can not understand....

Duty, Honor, Country is your code.

You will not Lie, Cheat, or Steal, Nor tolerate those who do.

You DON'T join to go to college, you join to go to war for your country. Plain and Simple. Get straight with THAT or DONT join.

Just because soldiers defend democracy, doesn't mean they are IN one. They go where they are told to go, and fight who they are told to fight. Personal AGREEMENT isn't part of the equation.

You will be mentally and physically challenged to get better, get stronger, do more than you ever thought you could.

Whether you are in for one tour, or twenty years, your life WILL be changed forever. Some for the better. Some for the worse. YOU will NOT change the Service, it WILL change YOU.

Not everyone is cut for the lifestyle. There is only three ways to do things in this life: The right way, the wrong way and your Service's way. Notice what I left out: YOUR way. They will teach you how to do things "their" way. If you attempt to resist and continue to do things "YOUR" way, your enlistment will likely end up in military prison.

It is a GREAT opportunity to get training, learn skills, and get experience that civilians have to wait years to obtain. Which is fantastic! But your PURPOSE is to conduct combat operations against the enemies of the USA. And combat sucks....it REALLY sucks.

Tell us, please, just where it is that you "learned" your English composition skills? I want to be sure to warn off my friends of childbearing age from that district.
