My ex-boyfriend and I were together for 3 yrs. My current boyfriend and I have been together for 2 1/2 yrs. My current boyfriend is not very fond of my ex. My problem is that my ex and I have become really good friends after much time has passed and he's very lonely and unhappy and he needs friends. He's suicidal and I want to be there for him just in case. My current boyfriend doesn't want me talking to him. He's very calm about it but he just doesn't like it, even after I explained to him that my ex isn't doing so well. Should I ignore what he wants and be there for my ex, or should I stop talking to my ex and possibly have him die on me? A very tough decision.

Easy decision for me to make. It sounds like your ex is trying to get the sympathy factor to get you back. He is trying to get your boyfriend and you to fight, so he could step in your life again. If you love your current boyfriend, then have nothing to do with your ex.

Really? very tough decision? I guess you should let him die since it's a tough decision.

Don't get involved with the emotional problems your ex has. As you can see, it causes you too much turmoil.
