There is this girl I at work that I like, and I know here name is Maureen, I've seen it on her name tag. I want to talk to her, but I don't want to mispronounce her name. How do you say Maureen?

It is pronounced like MORE- EEEN. Say it as one word with a slight accent on the een part.

I've always said it like Mawr-een but I have met someone who prnouced it Moore-een.
Either way, you shouldn't be afraid to talk to this girl because you might misprounce her name! Thats kinda silly! Just say what you think it is, then if she corrects you, don't make the same mistake. Or, you could pretend like you didn't see her name tag and ask her what her name is. either way.
